Our commitment to sustainability

At Zuri Foods, sustainability is more than just a buzzword—it's an integral part of our mission. We recognize that our actions have an impact on the environment and take our responsibility to minimize it seriously. This applies to every one of our products, but especially to our packaging.

Responsible packaging: How it works

We recognize that all packaging should be recycled at the end of its life to conserve valuable resources. According to German Packaging Act, we, as a distributor, are obligated to participate in a dual system that finances the collection and recycling of our packaging.

To ensure this, we are officially registered with the Central Packaging Register Foundation (LUCID) under registration number DE2528520486183 . This is the first and most important step toward compliance with the law.

We have also chosen to collaborate with EKO-PUNKT , a renowned dual system dedicated to the efficient and sustainable recycling of packaging waste. We license all our sales and shipping packaging through EKO-PUNKT. This means that we pay a fee for every piece of packaging we receive, which goes directly to organizing the recycling system in Germany. This ensures that paper, cardboard, and plastics from our packaging don't simply end up in the residual waste, but are returned to the recycling cycle.

We ask you to dispose of your packaging properly so this cycle can continue to work and we can all do something good for our environment.
